I have never been a big fan of short stories, I always feel like they are over just as I'm beginning to get into them. I like a big fat novel that can last, that I can spend time getting to know the characters. However Stephen king is the master of the short story and these are ones I come back to again and again. Although my favourite in this book is "The Mist" which at 144 pages could be called a novella.
